About Fanart

Fanart refers to unnofficial merchandise produced in celebration of a fandom- or in this case, a vtuber. Several indies have made public statuses allowing this practice, but at the end of the day the talent's control over their IP and unofficial products is the most important. This segment is to show that transparency.

  • In the case the Vtuber already has a contract with kawa, they are also compensated on every fanart sale
  • If a Vtuber or Company wishes to join this program and earn revenue on each sale (formally making it 'official' art) we ask they reach out via one of their social media accounts to Kawa directly.
  • If a Vtuber wishes to have their fanart removed, it will be done- no questions asked. Remaining fan merch will be grab bagged.
  • A portion of all sales is also sent to the artist, based on their contract.

Everything was packaged well!

Got my package and of course first concern was the condition of the contents. When I opened it, I found everything was protected and wrapped well. Poster was in a cardboard sleeve so no creases or wrinkles - yah! Even the stickers and note were in a sleeve to keep them flat. Of course, the merch items themselves are super cute. Can't wait to display them.
