What is your contact info / best way to reach you?
The website chat is the best way to reach out! That Little Button on the bottom right! We are a small team, so sometimes it can take a bit to get back to you, but if you don't hear from us in a few business days, please feel free to ping us in this chat again!
Where are you located?
We are a small woman-owned business located in the United States, specifically in Austin, Texas.

Are your products ethically sourced?
Yes, we prioritize ethical sourcing and work closely with our suppliers to ensure fair labor practices and environmentally responsible production methods.
Can I return or cancel my order?
Unfortunately, we generally cannot accept returns or cancellations as everything sold in our store is made to order. The only exception is if a product has not closed it's pre-order period yet.
About Us (Written by Muu Inanaku) :
Kawa Entertainment was founded in early 2022 as a Vtuber Agency. The first round of auditions received over 1000 applicants, and from them, 6 talents for the first generation were chosen. 3 Debuted in early June 2022- Huni Ryukin (later changed to Hunikin), Senniursa, and PiaPiUFO. The second 'Wave' debuted around a month later, after those talents' work and school responsibilities wrapped up, and consisted of Kota Kotonya, Xion de Noir, and Koziichu.
Talents were all adopted with their current IP, and their IP rights were never transferred to Kawa. The contract was for 1 year by default.
The three founding Staff were CEO Pidge, Talent Manager Monty, and Merchandise Muu. All 3 staff did not pay themselves for any work done for Kawa for the two years of operation as a talent agency. As there were no angel investors, kawa's budget was limited to the original $20,000 Investment from Pidge, which was used roughly to support $1000 in tech and model updates for each talent, $1000 in art assets per talent for debut, and other necessary startup costs like Lawyers, contracts, and LLC formation. All profit from external merch collaborations in 2023 were re-invested back into conventions and talent activities.
Another Manager that went by Dango was also with the company in 2022-2023.
Friend of Kawa, Keydget expressed that he was having difficulty finding a merch company to sell his Dakimakura, and at PiaPi's suggestion, Muu reached out and produced their first in-house non-signed talent merchandise. Keydget's limited time drop was extremely successful and opened the door to more collaborations in 2023, including notably Merryweather Media.
In 2022 Kawa brought their 6 talents to a few conventions to advertise them (San Japan was the first).
In January of 2023, Kawa produced a full-length 3D concert featuring PiapiUFO and Xion de noir. All costs associated with mocap, and video editing were bore by kawa, and the concert was live at Ikkicon, in Austin, TX. and later broadcasted on Twitch with live reactions from the performers.

Kota Kotonya and Xion De Noir decided to not renew their contracts at the one year mark. The primary reason quoted was the contract changing to require a minimum payment of $100 a month to Kawa to pay for the salary of the talent manager, and provide clips every week, among other expenses.

Kawa's second wave of auditions gathered over 2,000 applications, and Pastaroni Ravioli, Mino Mieko, and Kuromiya Lucien joined in May of 2023.
After that, an ambitious project was launched. Collaborating with the brands Xpress Skins and Senpai Squad, which Muu had worked with for several years. Kawa brought their innovative Photobooth Tech to Anime Expo in Los Angeles. Kawa also went solo to OffKai Expo two weeks before Anime Expo, where all 7 talents at the time were guests with official trading cards, panels, and a concert featuring PiapiUFO, Mino Mieko, and Kuromiya Lucien.
After Anime Expo in July of 2025, Kawa continued to host various events at conventions, and push for online events which were often delayed due to internal issues. Kuromiya Lucien also left Kawa in late 2024.
In January of 2025 Kawa hosted a charity tournament called Tetris Showdown that raised over $2000 for Doctors Without Borders.
On January 10th of 2025, Kawa suddenly closed the entire talent branch and pivoted entirely to Collaborative Official Merchandise. All 6 talents at the time were encouraged to talk frankly and honestly about the situations and their grievances. Regardless, over half of the remaining talents have continued to produce merch with Kawa Entertainment to this day.
Kawa CEO at the time reduced her involvement, handing things off to Muu. Monty left Kawa to work elsewhere.
Muu has expressed on social media that she felt that compared to other large agencies at the time that had external funding, kawa was unable to compare in terms of benefits, and it was actively taking away from talents' precious time working on their own projects. Outside of merchandise and convention appearances, the talents had very little benefits to stay with Kawa, and those benefits did not need to stop even if the agency closed down, and the talents were free to explore other opportunities. Although Kawa had gotten a few sponsorship opportunities for it's talents, it was not enough to more than offset the monthly fee.
To any of the original kawa talents' fans reading thus far - or the talents themselves, thank you again for believing in our dream, and dealing with so much. I'm sorry we couldn't accomplish more together, and I know the sky is the limit for each of you. I personally was going through a large change in my life as my Mother was hospitalized, so there were certain things I wasn't involved in, but I feel at the end of the day I failed every single member in some way, and that I'm unbelievably honored to work with 10 of the most amazing content creators in the world. No matter what terms the talents left Kawa on, I can look back on something fondly. I hope that sentiment can be expressed fully despite this rather dry 'about us' section. - Muu
After a period of down time to close up responsibilities, Kawa solidified as a merch company in 2024.
Comparing 2022, 2023, and 2024, kawa's merchandise sales have doubled year over year, and 2025 has already surpassed 2024's sales as of halfway through the year, on track to double once again.
Joining Muu fulfilling packages is now a team of 9 employees' as of July of 2025.
